As a Choreographer, Guru Smt. Uma Rao has many productions to her credit. Each and every production has been unique and expressed to the best of her ability with perfection in all the aspects of dance may it be in using Mudras, usage of the stage, Abhinaya, portyal of Character, depicting the Story, Constume etc., Her productions have received a lot of appreciation all over. 'Yuki Onna' and 'Sagi Musume' Dance Dramas choreographed based on famous classic stories of Japan in Japanese lyrics set to Indian classical music by Smt. Radha Thandaveshwar.

''Last Poem' - Rabindranath Tagore's famous poem translated to Russian language set to Russian classical music choreographed in Bharatha Natyam, Kathak style.

'Sangeetha trimurthy Darshana' - group dance feature sponsored by Sangeeth Natak Academy, New Delhi. Performed at Jaganmohana Palace in Mysore & during Chennai December season presented at Sri Krishna Gana Sabha and Narada Gana Sabha .
